Stock Driver (HGV Class 2) - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

As an Albion HGV Class 2 Stock Driver, your role will be to move stock between our 3 sites in central Tonbridge, communicating with management and departments efficiently throughout the day. Alongside this, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy yard and may be asked to complete some general warehouse duties.

This will be a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, working Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm (5 days).

This role is essential to the smooth running of the business and ensures our customers get their deliveries as well as the best possible service! Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects to the fleet controller
• Ensuring your vehicle is clean, tidy and fuelled up ready for the following day
• Effectively communicating across departments to organise moving stock
• Driving between sites, and assisting with loading/unloading where required
• General warehouse duties - including, maintaining a tidy and organised yard

Role requirements

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, as well as being self-motivated and happy to help others
• A full and valid driving licence, valid CPC and digital tacho card
• Forklift licence desirable, but not essential
