Sales Support Specialist - (INTERNAL APPLICATIONS ONLY)

We are expanding our Sales Support team who work very closely with our Sales Director and Account Manager and are key in providing an excellent customer experience. 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm/8am-5pm

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Responding to incoming queries via email
• Supporting the Sales Director and Account Manager with new business enquiries
• Opening of new customer and staff accounts
• Using MS Excel to provide reports and analyse data as required
• Organising dispatch of product samples
• Producing allergen and nutritional reports
• Providing specification sheets to customers
• Investigating repeat customer complaints, identifying and facilitating the best course of action for remedy
• Updating and maintaining our customer database
• Implementing product price changes
• Involvement in future sales planning
• Management of multiple e-procurement software portals - invoicing orders, updating prices and allergy information
• Invoicing orders, maintaining and inputting accurate data

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Previous experience in a customer service/sales environment is desirable, however full training will be provided 
• Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Excel is essential
• Ability to maintain focus, attention to detail and manage workload effectively under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cohesively with the wider team but with initiative to work solo
