  • Purée Mandarin - PONTHIER

PONTHIER Mandarin Purée is made using high-quality mandarin oranges grown in the fertile terroir of Sicily. The volcanic island, surrounded by mountains, offers well-drained soil rich in chalk, minerals and fine yellow sand, making it ideal for citrus groves. A steady supply of water from mountain streams and continuous sunshine contribute to the exceptional quality of the fruit. Produced according to local tradition, Sicilian mandarins are fresh and vibrant, with a powerful aroma, bright colour and a flavour that balances acidity with a touch of bitterness. Their many qualities have earned them recognition in the Slow Food Foundation’s biodiversity initiatives.
