PONTHIER Chilled Blackcurrant Purée combines three renowned varieties of blackcurrant: Noir de Bourgogne, Black Down and Andega.

Noir de Bourgogne is prized for its smooth, glossy skin, ranging from deep blue to liquorice black, and its firm, juicy berries with a distinct tartness. Black Down, a cross between the Baldwin and Brödtorp varieties, produces firm, medium-sized fruit with a purplish-black colour and a well-balanced flavour that is sweet with controlled acidity. Andega contributes a sweet, textured juice thanks to the generous size of its berries.
