Production Operative - Cheese Room

We are expanding our Production unit and are looking for hard-working cheese lovers to join the team who are responsible for handling a multitude of cheeses, ensuring our customers receive exactly the cheese, size, and weight they order.  Albion is a fine foods business supplying over 4,000 products to chefs across London and the South East ensuring they have everything they need to run their service and keeping the county feed. Our mission is to provide an excellent service to our many customers offering them a ‘one stop shop’ of products and ingredients for their daily needs.

This is a physical, hands-on role where accuracy, attention to detail and focus are key skills for success, this role may also include aspects of heavy lifting. You will need to be able to maintain high levels of productivity and consistency meeting daily targets to ensure there are sufficient products to meet customer demand. 

You will need to:

• Be willing an able to work in a chilled environment (PPE will be required)
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a positive, can do attitude
• Be able to work well under pressure and to tight timescales
• Be able to remain calm and focused
