Drivers Mate

As a Drivers Mate at Albion Fine Foods you will be the face of the business, meeting our customers everyday while providing them with an outstanding service. We supply fresh, frozen and ambient produce to some of the finest chefs across London and the South East, delivering from our growing range of over 4,000 products to a range of restaurants, pubs, cafes, businesses and even schools. Your role is vital in ensuring they get everything then need to deliver their service. Our aim is to provide chefs with a great service, great products and less hassle!

Working alongside our delivery drivers you will be providing outstanding customer service to our customers, ensuring they receive their orders in a friendly and efficient manner. You'll work 5 days across 7 and will start your shift early between 3am-5am. This is a hands-on, physical role where you will be delivering crates of produce and ambient stock to our customers. This role is vital to the smooth running of the business and ensures our customers get their deliveries along with the best possible service. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring your vehicle is clean and tidy, ready for the following day
• Helping the customer unload their order, providing a loyal and helpful service
• Assisting the driver with completing all necessary paperwork, and goods are signed for upon delivery
• Working as part of a team to ensure the efficient delivery to our customers

Role requirements

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for delivering great customer service
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, as well as being self-motivated and happy to help others
• This is a hands-on role, with some heavy lifting required

Salary up to £22,666 per annum 

30 days annual leave, plus an additional 22 days off per year. That's 52 days off a year in total!
