Debrief Coordinator

Do you like working outside and have a good manner when it comes to dealing with people?

We are looking for two people to join our Transport team whose main role will be to welcome back our drivers at the end of their day ensuring any issues they experienced throughout the day are dealt with and communicated to the right departments and ensuring that all driver processes are carried out as they should be. You do not need to be experienced in transport or logistics, but you must be a people person and not mind working outside. We will provide you with PPE for when the weather’s not at it’s greatest. 

The role is working 5 days a week and this does include weekends, and the hours are 11am to 8pm.  

This role is brand new to us and will evolve over time but initially your typical duties will include:

• Greeting our returning drivers ensuring processes have been carried out correctly, including:
• Vehicle checks to make sure all returning vehicles meet our vehicle hygiene standards
• Ensuring all stickers have been removed from trays
• Carrying out a visual vehicle check and ensuring any damage is reported
• Ensuring returning stocks is placed in the correct areas
• Completing returning trolley and tray counts ensuring all equipment is accounted for
• Ensuring HGV drivers and vehicles downloads are completed as required
• Ensuring all customer keys are returned and accounted for
• Ensure H&S compliance at all times
• Monitor transport systems to ensure legal compliance (training will be provided)
• Collaborate with the morning shift to ensure all people processes are carried out including investigations and return to work meetings
• Ensure all vehicle accidents are reported in a timely manner and that accident investigations are completed and escalated

Transport/Logistics experience is not required, what’s important is that you are a people person, can win people round and convince them to do things they do not want to do!
